Foundations
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.
2 Timothy 3:16,17
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Spirit. He is merciful but also just.
Genesis 1:26,27
We believe that sin has separated us from God
and His purpose for our lives.
Romans 3:23
We believe that God the Father so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice in order to save all who believe and to restore them into relationship with God.
John 3:16
We believe, that the Lord Jesus Christ as both fully God and fully man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, and He rose again.
1 Timothy 2:5,6
We believe that to receive forgiveness and ‘new birth’ (become ‘born again’) we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to God’s will for our lives.
Acts 16:31
We believe that to live the life that God intends for us, we are to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts and grow in the fruit of the Spirit which shapes us to be more like Jesus.
Acts 2:38
We believe in the Church (universal) and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for community, prayer,
and mutual support.
Hebrews 10:24,25
We believe that God has equipped us to achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, grow in faith, fulfill our role in His Church, and serve the community we interact with.
Ephesians 2:10
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 14:6
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again for His Church, as He promised.
John 14:2,3
