Evan & Moira

With a dream in their heart to build something great for God, these two incredible people took on the leadership of Bridge Community Church in September 2015 after following the call of God leaving their home and church in Sydney Australia and moving to New York City in January 2015.

Evan and Moira have been married for 17 years and have four daughters, Eternity, Harmony, Leilani, Brooklyn and their son Israel. They first met in 1997 while they were working at a Government office in Wellington New Zealand. They have now served in ministry together in three countries first in New Zealand then Australia and now in the USA.

Evan and Moira were the founding Pastors of, “The Embassy,” an Urban Gospel Church in Sydney. Having planted the church in 2007 they functioned as Lead Pastors there until 2014 when they transitioned to new leadership. On a family holiday in October 2013 they felt called to move to New York to fulfill the next chapter in their calling.

Evan has a background in International Development having worked as the National Development Manager for Compassion International in Australia as well as for Open Doors, but his passion is building the church, empowering leaders & raising pastors. Moira is has functioned in the Government and private sector and has coordinated events and managed volunteers. Between them they have almost 35 years of Pastoral experience.

Both Evan and Moira are passionate about seeing people reach their full potential in Christ and hold firmly to the belief that the local church is the hope of the world!
